Concurrently, the shelter failed several condition inspections and was being cited for inhumane situations.An interim board was shaped and interim administration hired to run the shelter, but previous volunteers and "no-kill" supporters criticized the board and employees for euthanizing over twenty five canines with the overcrowded shelter.By September, users of the shelter's new board sued previous LHS volunteers Donna Lerner and Lisa Coons; Joseph Paladino; Lori McRee Hoffman, leader of Monroe County No-Kill in Pennsylvania; and Facebook aliases "John Wolf," "Alex Lazur" and "Biff Schwartz."Attorney Howard Myerowitz submitted that lawsuit on behalf of LHS, his legislation associate Diana Jeffrey, who is an interim board member, board member John Hanussak and his wife, and interim shelter manager Nikki Dawson. It alleges a "barrage of threats, slanderous insults and blatantly untrue information made to intimidate us into relinquishing control" in the shelter.That match brought about a counter complaint and on Nov. 23, New Jersey Animal Advocates
