DONE DEALS: Priciest metro Phoenix home sales


Executives of a Isagenix, a Chandler-based company that sells nutritional, weight-loss and anti-aging skin-care products, a tax attorney from Omaha, a New York securities firm director and an executive recruiter from Los Angeles are among the buyers and sellers in this week’s priciest home sales. $5,900,000 Desert Trails LLC, a Nevada limited liability company whose sole managing member is James Coover, bought a 8,369-square-foot house with pool built in 1996 at Las Brisas in Paradise Valley. James Coover is president/CEO and his wife Kathy, executive vice president of Isagenix, a Chandler-based company that sells nutritional, weight-loss and anti-aging skin-care products. The house was sold by James W. Ryan, as managing member of Suite 55 LLC, a New Mexico limited liability company. $5,250,000 Robert and Kathryn Strother of West Vancouver, British Columbia, paid cash for a 9,358-square-foot home with pool built in 2006 at Villaresi in Paradise Valley. The house was sold by Linda Rasmussen, as trustee of her trust. Her husband, the late R. Phillip Rasmussen, was the chairman of the board of Amsco Windows and Doors in Salt Lake City. $4,450,000 Kurt F. Tjaden, as trustee of Cheney Holdings LLC, an Arizona limited liability company, paid cash for an 8,737-square-foot house with pool built in 2007 south of Camelback Golf Club in Paradise Valley. Kurt Tjaden is the chair of the Koley Jessen’s tax practice group and a senior member of the firm’s estate and business succession planning practice in Omaha, Neb. The house was sold by John H. O’Neill III, as manager of PV Burton LLC, a Delaware limited liability company.
$3,150,000 Paul and Elizabeth Rossetti paid cash for a 4,194-square-foot house with pool built in 2009 along the southwest corner of the Silverleaf Club in Scottsdale. Paul Rossetti is a managing director at American Securities in New York. The house was sold by Robert and Eugenie Damon, as trustees of the RED Trust. Robert Damon is president, North America, of Korn/Ferry International, an executive recruiting firm headquartered in Los Angeles. $3,000,000 John and Leslie Brown paid cash for a 7,737-square-foot house with pool built in 2008 on the north side of the Ancala Country Club in Scottsdale.
